Don't get me wrong, I love my DirecTV and would NEVER go back to comcast cable TV (not quite as bad as time warner, bright house, whatever they're called now), but this direcTV "go green" thing doesn't make sense to me.
DirecTV is pushing people to go to paperless billing. In fact, they won't let you view your detailed bill online unless you go paperless. That's fine, I'm sure if all their millions of customers went paperless they would save a ton of money, make sense.
So I got my paper bill today - and what I don't get is in the envelope alongside the bill I have:
*MLB promotion
*Refer a friend promotion
*UFC promotion
*Moving installation instructions
all full color flyers.
If they're trying to save money, why double/triple the cost of paper & ink?
