Sweet Iced Tea

Add to pot:

6 cups water
1 cup of sugar

Boil
Once boiling add 3 large or 4 regular teabags to water
Don't let teabags site for more than 5 min!!!
Remove teabags and pot from heat
Add 6 cups of cool tap water

S'mores Cookies

S'mores Cookies
adapted from Make and Bake

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt
1 dash of cinnamon

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces

Directions

  1. Place the chicken, butter, soup, and onion in a slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover.

Tall ships invade Jacksonville! There was some real cool ships downtown this weekend. They had a pirate battle, fireworks, and let people on the ships.

Just updated the site to a new theme. I also added a bunch of junk on the left news, weather, etc. I upgraded to PHP 5, seems to be working fine. The links up top have been updated. You can follow me on twitter (which aggregates here) and I have the link to my flickr photo gallery too.
